I've been emailing back and forth with a designer regarding my fruit blog. He volunteered his assistance because he believes in the cause.
The other day he emailed: "Is there a specific reason why you don't give the posts a title? Google hates you because of this."
Sigh. There are many specific reasons, yes. Laziness is a specific reason. Also, the notion that many posts aren't really about anything per se. That is also a specific reason.
Also, I never wanted to write "Apples" or "Idiot" as a post title. And so it just seemed easier to write nothing at all.
But it's true that this quirk makes Google cross. And so I am going to have to cough up some post titles this year. I need now to try to figure out the least-lame way to do this.
