It's not so easy to come across optimistic visions of our future. But we can find a few if we look in our past.
This video presents, with unblushing optimism, something that sounds like a nightmare: a nation criss-crossed with ribbons of concrete and cities that sprawl for miles and miles.
In between long passages of utter make-believe, there are occasionally a few things that stand out as being part of our world today.
It's easy to chuckle at this imagined future, but the writing is strong and the optimism is endearing.
I hope we can look back and laugh at today's prediction's tomorrow.
