22: Kickstarter.com

Step 1: See post on internet pal's blog about cookbook project looking for support.

Step 2: Become intrigued with idea of kickstarter.com.

Step 3: Stumble upon one of the backers of kickstarter.com on Metafilter; he says he has some invites to hand out.

Step 4: Ask for invite.

Step 5: Receive invite. Post Fruit Slinger project on kickstarter.com.

Step 6: Decide I can't quite bring myself to post it on facebook. I'd rather get money from strangers than friends. But, see, that's hard because I don't know any strangers!

Step 7: Post it on super-secret blog no one reads. Or I think no one reads. I never bothered to install tracking codes on the site. Have I mentioned that before? I think maybe I have. If you think this is the kind of blog where I go back and check what I've said before, you've got another thing coming. Or, really, more of the same thing coming, I suppose. At any rate, no tracking codes on this site. It's better that way. I wish I didn't know how many people weren't following me on Twitter.
