Pope: Condoms not the answer in AIDS fight
The problem with this — well, one of the problems — is that AIDS does not just affect bad people like homosexuals and fornicators.
In fact, the AIDS pandemic in Africa has very little to do with men going to clubs for all-night foam parties and wearing t-shirts that are several sizes too small. AIDS affects all sorts of people, including mothers and children.
The pope sees abstinence as the answer.
Which reminds me: Last time I went for some (completely routine!) testing, the counselor who gave me my (completely routine!) test results told me that he was concerned I was not having enough sex.
